The City of West New York, NJ, and its honorable Mayor, Sal Vega present: Music & Art On The Boulevard - A cultural artistic event with attractions for the whole family. Next Sunday, October 12th 2008 "Día de la Hispanidad" (Hispanic Day), the Boulevard East, along with West New York residents and neighboring communities, will dress up to party and celebrate this grand artistic and cultural event. The festival will feature a parade of orchestras playing live Latin music with Chico Alvarez Y Mafimba, Xiomara Laugart, Ropa Vieja, Mariela Valencia y su Afro Peru, La Bolá, Los Mariachis Norteños, Bachata Azurr y Rumba Flamenca Olé. There will also be art exhibits, games and entertainment for the whole family, and food venders offering a variety of Latin American cuisines. Admission is Free. Music & Art On The Boulevard, will take place along the Boulevard East, from 55th up to 60th street, in West New York, NJ, set against the spectacular view of the city of new York.
