Club Cubano Inter-Americano in 2011 is more enthusiastic than ever, with a new generation of leadership and members determined to keep the flame alive.
On Saturday, October 1, 2011, the Legendary Club Cubano Inter-Americano hosted their first annual Festival de la Guayabera, dinner dance and fundraiser, in the Polonaise Ballroom of the Polish Center in Yonkers, NY. This event was crafted by the new board of directors of the club in utmost class and sophistication. The festival was a sold-out success and was a testimony to the enduring spirit of the Club Cubano Inter-Americano.
We heard nothing but great comments, such as: · “This event is great!” · “ I felt like if I was in Havana in the early fifties, in the Hotel Nacional Ballroom” · “The music and food is great!” (This person wanted to make a point that usually in these types of events the food is not that good, but it was NOT the case with this event - She loved how ‘el pernil’ was prepared). · “This is one of the best events that the club has had.” · “It was a great party. I really enjoyed the Cuban music. Keep me posted about future events and/or let me know how to become a member.” · “I am having such a great time!” · “I've have been attending most of the Club's events and this one was fabulous, so I would like to become a member.”

The Club Cubano Inter-Americano’s next big event will celebrate Saint Valentine's Day Cuban style on February 11, 2012 in the classy Polonaise Ballroom of the Polish Center in Yonkers, NY.
In addition, the Club is scheduled to bring back once again the authentic Fiesta del Mamoncillo in the summer of 2012.
Both upcoming events, hosted by El Club Cubano Inter-Americano, promise to be highly enjoyable and memorable.
