Cubanizate with CUBANOSON's Hot Latin Dance CDs
Leonel “Papo” Ortega formed the New York-based orchestra, Cubanoson, in 2005. Two of their hit songs, “Cubanoson” and “Recordando A Cuba” from their debut CD titled “Recordando A Cuba” received worldwide airplay, and still continues to do so to this day. The band made it to the 2007 Latin Grammy Final Entry List in 12 categories and was featured at the International FIFI Awards, on UNIVISION TV, and numerous other festivals and performances, including a blockbuster show at NJPAC 4 years in a row. Their latest CD release “Rumba Nueva” made it to the 2010 Latin Grammy Final Entry List in 9 categories and is also getting considerable airplay worldwide. To top it all off, their dance music is featured in three languages- English, Spanish, and French.
