The third year of Caramoor's exploration of music from Latin America focuses on Cuba. Paquito D'Rivera, Jorge Luis Prats, Tiempo Libre, and Chuchito Valdés perform the intoxicating rhythms and Caribbean melodies of their collective homeland. Performers and programs are subject to change.

Jorge Luis Prats has recently left his native Cuba and now resides in the U.S. His knowledge of Cuban music and of the great traditions of the piano repertoire are complete. His beauty of sound, technical mastery, and depth of interpretation make him one of the greatest living pianists. Be among the first to hear this new discovery in his first performance in the Northeast.
